成人語音知覺的腦部活動組型:利用「功能性磁造影(functional Magnetic Resonance Imagining, fMRI)」技術,本人與美國西雅圖華盛頓大學的研究者合作,探索在不同的母語經驗下,成人語音敏感度的個別差異是否也反應在大腦活動組型的差異上。研究發現,英語及日語說話者右腦主要聽覺皮質區的活動組型差異越大,行為上的語音敏感度越高。出版於神經科學的期刊 Cerebral Cortex。另外,在進行fMRI資料分析時,我們的研究顯示不需要選擇Region of Interest (ROI),而是用whole brain的資料進行分析,也能發現「行為-大腦活動型態」的關係。結果出版於Neuroimage。近年的研究計畫,利用fMRI探索高功能自閉症兒童處理情緒語調的大腦活動型態,及其與一般語音知覺和社會認知發展的關係。
