講題:Uniting Psychology for the FutureUniting Psychology for the Future
This presentation focuses on the implications of current trends in psychology, with attention paid to science, education, practice, and public interest. For example, consideration will be given to psychology as a STEM discipline, culture inclusive research, team science, science translation to the public, competency-based education and training, competent communities, interdisciplinary education, educational delivery platforms, career paths, prevention, community engagement, advocacy, diversity, globalization, psychopathology, evidence-based practice, interprofessional practice, telepsychology, and consultation.. Attention is then paid to the value and importance of uniting the science, education, public interest, and practice components of psychology and ways to accomplish such unification. For psychology to be effective and thrive in the future, we must capitalize on our strengths as a discipline and profession and proactively create new opportunities for current and future generations of psychologists.
