摘要:This presentation will explore advanced neurohistological processing techniques specifically designed for non-human primate brains, including species such as Macaque, Cebus, and Marmoset. It will highlight both published and unpublished work focused on refining neuroimaging methodologies, such as tape-transfer histological processing, All-in-Focus imaging, MRI-guided registration, and atlas-based brain mapping. These techniques are essential for enabling detailed analysis of brain structure. Additionally, I will introduce a novel machine learning (ML) framework, outlining its theoretical foundations, methodological implementation, and potential applications for whole-brain connectivity analysis. This integrated approach is poised to revolutionize the field of neurobiology, offering deeper insights into the structural organization of non-human primate brains. Lastly, I will share unpublished research on the development of a new brain atlas for the marmoset cerebellum, emphasizing the critical role of precise tissue processing in brain mapping efforts.
