摘要:
This presentation will explore advanced neurohistological processing techniques tailored specifically for non-human primate brains, encompassing species such as Macaque, Cebus, and Marmoset. It will introduce various published/unpublished works aimed at refining neuroimaging methodologies, including tape-transfer histological processing, All-in-Focus imaging, MRI-guided registration and atlas brain mapping. These techniques are instrumental in facilitating comprehensive brain structure analysis. I will also introduce a novel machine learning (ML) framework, explaining its theoretical foundations, methodological implementation, and potential applications for whole brain connectivity analysis. This integrated approach is poised to revolutionize the field of neurobiology, providing deeper insights into the structural organization of non-human primate brains. Lastly, I will share unpublished research related to the development of a new brain atlas for the marmoset cerebellum, underscoring the critical importance of precise tissue processing in brain mapping endeavors.
